Live at Evolution
As part of her practicum in the BCIT Radio Arts & Entertainment program, Dominika hosted four episodes of Live at Evolution, an interview show with live music featuring local bands from the Vancouver area. This is a highlight reel featuring her superb hosting skills and the best moments from the show. Dominika loved mixing her passion of music with the skills she learned in radio, this is where she feels at home and really shines.
Original Youtube Series
Also a part of her practicum at BCIT, Dominika created her own original Youtube series titled FreeDOMinika. This series featured Dominika pushing herself out of her comfort zone and confronting her fears as a way to combat her anxious tendencies. This series shows off her strong ability to engage audiences and be authentic on camera.
Podcast
For the another component of her BCIT practicum, Dominika created Freehand, an original podcast with the theme of exploring different perspectives to find more happiness, calmness, and personal freedom in our lives. Having dealt with anxiety in the past this is a topic that is very important to her and something she is deeply interested in. Her ability to speak with passion while still feeling casual and conversational makes this podcast easy and enjoyable to listen to.
Radio Commercial Production
In her third semester at BCIT Dominika had the opportunity to practice producing some audio commercials and found that this is something she really enjoys! She used her classmates to voice the commercials, directed their performance, found sound effects and music and put it all together in professional sounding 30-second spots. The demo features clips of just a few of the best commercials she produced.
Music
Dominika loves music and knows how to play guitar, bass, and sing. In the past few years she has been interested in uploading covers of her favourite songs to Youtube.
